I tend to bid early with the amount I'm willing to pay. If you clock watch you'll get caught up in the moment and could end up putting in more than you really want to. Somes you win, somes you don't

10 years on Ebay and first time this has ever happened. Anyone else had similar issues?

use gixen.com its a free ebay auction sniping site, i set to snipe at 6 secs before end, as long as your bid is highest (obviously), it will place your bid exactly 6 secs before end and you'll win.

and you can set it up in advance, then get on with your life!! you dont have to wait by comp watching secs tick down till auction closes
