Hi - I'm an adult season ticket holder in the west stand lower, today I had the opportunity to sit with a friend in his sons seat (East stand) - his son was not attending the game. I was charged £19 to do this.

very frustrating, as last season we managed to do the same without a charge and were told that it was just a case of transferring seats. We did explain this to the ticket office but we got nowhere as they made it clear I had to pay or sit in my normal seat.

Essentially I have paid twice for the game today. when did the rule change?

No, you shouldn't have been charged if you were simply moving to a lower-priced seat. Can you DM me your personal info and I will get someone from Supporter Services to get in touch after looking into this. Apologies for the inconvenience.
