Albion's experienced central defenders Gordon Greer and Aaron Hughes helped their countries to eyecatching away results in Euro 2016 qualifying action tonight.
Seagulls skipper Greer played a full part in a 2-2 draw for Scotland in Poland.
Hughes won his 93rd cap in a 2-0 win for Northern Ireland in Greece.
Greer was given the nod by Scotland boss Gordon Strachan to partner Brighton-born Russell Martin in place of the injured Grant Hanley.
They kept out Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowksi in a pulsating contest which included a late booking for Greer for a trip.
Hughes and Northern Ireland, meanwhile, top group F with three wins out of three after beating Greece, who reached the last 16 of the World Cup.
Hughes' Albion team-mate Paddy McCourt was an unused substitute.
The results capped a memorable night for Albion's internationals following Jake Forster-Caskey's earlier role in the England under-21s' qualification for next summer's Euro finals in the Czech Republic.
