1984......went to work for Lloyds Bank. Whilst doing my A levels I worked in a slaughterhouse, killing and processing chickens 3 nights a week.

1984. Worked in the engineering storeroom at the Shell Centre at Waterloo for a month.

One of the reasons why I got into refereeing. Good money and something I enjoy. But for that reason that it's hard to get a job, is the reason why I'm going to university.

1980 Apprentice at Kearney and Trecker Marwin
1982, Youth Opportunity Scheme (later became YTS) at Lucas on the corner of Old Shoreham Road and Nevill Road. Earned £21 per week take home, gave a tenner to mum, and got a better job a month later.

First part time jobs - Saturday mornings at Dolcis in Churchill Square, then selling programmes at the Goldstone.
First full time job - bar man / wine waiter.
