  • Albion with 11 signings so far
  • Hyypia not ruling out business today
  • Seagulls miss out on Lenihan

10:35am
...though Rob Tanner at the Leicester Mercury has just said McGoldrick is "extremely unlikely " to join the Foxes today.*

10:31am
A little look at the Championship...
Derby reported to have made a bid for Bournemouth's Matt Ritchie, who would fit into their attacking style.
And Ipswich being linked with ex-Albion loanee Chris Wood if, as seems likely, they lose David McGoldrick to Leicester. Haven't Leicester got*enough strikers?

10:04am
This may be of interest. It's not top of*our agenda but we might have more on this from our own sources later.
Albion go to Vicarage Road on October 4.

So Obika to Swindon for £200K, then...
I'm going to get on with a few other bits and pieces while we await any transfer events.
But I'll leave you for now with this, in case it has passed you by and you like to keep up with Albion players who have left during this window.
It's Andrea Orlandi's weekly blog, which has been running for the last three weeks or so.
He mentions a claim to fame at the end - although on a technicality*I would point out that Ulloa also has a*Spanish passport.
Poor Leo, truly the*forgotten man. Whatever happened to him?

9:31am
Morning all, Brian Owen here in Hollingbury.
Ulloa has been added to that list!
Good start! Or wishful thinking - probably the latter.
However, it leads nicely on to news of another striker we have seen in these parts in recent months...

9:17am
A reminder that so far it is 11 in, 12 out for the Seagulls including loan deals and players who were released.
That is if we only take into account players who have been involved in matchday squads.
IN: Stockdale, Hughes, Bennett (loan), Toko, Holla, McCourt, Gardner (loan), Teixeira (loan), Colunga, O'Grady, Baldock.
OUT: Kuszczak, Brezovan, Upson, Ward, Orlandi, David Lopez, Rodriguez, Buckley, Fenelon (loan), Ulloa, Dickenson, Hoskins.
On top of that, development squad winger Jeff Monakana has gone on loan to Aberdeen.
Albion*added former Chelsea duo Danny Pappoe and George Cole to the development squad.

9:02am
Ever wondered what it was like to field at slip when Sachin Tendulkar was in his prime?
Or to keep goal for Germany in a game against San Marino?
Or even to play on the wing in one of those “boring” England teams David Campese loves to moan about?
We might find out today in our deadline-day transfer blog.
A bit like those three sporting roles mentioned above, we are not expecting an awful lot to be thrown our way.
I’m sure there are Albion fans who would be quite happy if the status quo were maintained all the way to 11pm.
We’ll also be taking in deadline-day events elsewhere, mainly Crawley and Albion’s rivals in the Championship.
And perhaps we will engage in a bit of chat about the season so far as action on the field comes to a pause for the international break.
We’ll keep the blog running all day so check back with us from time to time.
We will also point you back*in this direction via Twitter and Facebook should things hot up.
(Have you liked our new Albion page on Facebook yet, by the way?)
But most of all we’ll be attentive for any transfer news which could still happen for the Seagulls, in or out.
And we won’t drop the ball when it comes our way!
