Empty sponsorship space

When attending home games I have increasingly noticed there are empty spaces for sponsorship signs around the ground. On the 3 tiers of the west stand I counted 8 spaces for sponsorship boards that both last season and now the last few games at the Amex have been left empty. Could these be filled with our own club branding or adverts for the club shop, or Nike products. Or alternatively could the club invite the fans to use these spaces for flags/banners? It would make the stadium look a lot nicer, and can only benefit us financially until sponsorship is found for these empty spaces.
