I don't know whether it's the influence of Sami Hyypiä, or just a coincidence, but he's impressed me in all four of the games I've seen him play so far this season (even the Wednesday one, which we lost).

Not just for his defensive work, which has been excellent, but also because it seems quite noticeable- and this must surely be a Hyypiä directive- how much more he's getting forward. He's actually had at least four or five decent chances to score so far this season. There was a moment on Saturday when Greer and Dunk started exchanging cheeky passes in the Bolton penalty area, and I knew that something had changed in the team mentality :lol:

Imagine when he starts getting these attacking headers and shots on target: the man is going to be a goalscoring MACHINE :ohmy:
