If any Premier League manager is going to get him playing at his best AND behaving himself, it's going to be Brendan Rodgers

£5m more than Ross McCormack. Yes.
Worth a £16m punt when the club has vast income. His recent goal scoring record for club and country is excellent, and perhaps he's grown up, a bit. There's less overt racism is England also, which could help him this time around, other than the odd wit like Malkay Mackay.

He's a tad madcap, and for the most part not too reliable if you're looking for a man to lead the line. Not sure how he'll fit into Liverpool's quick-thinking, fast-moving play, or be anywhere but straight down the middle in what is meant to be a roaming and interchanging front three. Tis a gamble, but not a bank-breaking one, by the looks of it.

Don't care who he signs for but glad he's back playing over here - never a dull moment. Hope we draw Pool if only to see the bonkers bloke in the flesh.

Here's a theory, Balotelli's mental behaviour is actually being rewarded.

Knowing that he is an absolute nutjob teams are going to pay a reduced transfer fee as the selling club is more willing to get him out of the place (city sold for £19m, Milan now for £16m) as a result of this he is in a far stronger position when it comes to wage negotiations as the buying club is fully aware he COULD be worth double that and the buying manager will back themselves to get the best out of him. As a result the buying club is more willing to pay him higher wages.

I'm not saying his personality has been invented by his agent but if they had come up with it as a money making strategy (how much has he made in signing on fees in the last two seasons?) it's would be proving very effective.

Anyway glad to see him back, I'm sure he'll give us all plenty to talk about.

He might be a complete fruit cake, but you have to admire his generosity when giving money away to the poorer classes. Not many footballers would do what he doe's i can tell ya.
