I'm glad we're getting some defensive players in at last.I feel we're a bit short in that department whilst being rather top heavy in our striker options.

Brian Lenihan's transfer to Brighton is said to be worth (after fee and add ons) close to €200,000

Well it cetainly does sound like this one is set to go ahead, however with the list of teams interested, and with our history of completing tranfers, i fully expect another team to step in and sign him.

I wonder if it does have legs due to our Irish connections at the Club? Isn't the Youth Director (John Morling?) Irish?

Nah. The nobs will only come out with all that if we DO sign him. If we don't then he will be hailed as a world beater, and Burke will be a useless **** for failing to persuade him to come here over six Premier League clubs.

If we do sign him, expect the following.... UNINSPIRED, UNDERWHELMED, MEH, ad nauseum....

If players were interested in signing for the Albion right now, let's just hope they don't view NSC. I'd be thinking: 'what a bunch of miserable, deluded, angry, depressing fans. Think I'd rather go elsewhere,'

Hmm, conflicting stories coming out today. This one, suggesting he is going to Hull, came out this morning too:-

David O'Sullivan tweeted that he is going to Hull 2 days ago

Hull Daily Mail reported that sources in Ireland said he is going to Hull and included the tweet from David O'Sullivan.

Tribal football are reporting that the Hull Daily Mail are reporting he is going to Hull.

That 'article', and I use the words loosely, is just regurgitating this one from the day before: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...kusen-8217-s/story-22762520-detail/story.html

It seems like Hull were favourites - maybe they're not any more.

(I know nothing on this at all)

Been linked with a lot of prem clubs including Arsenal. Looked like he was off to Hull a couple of days ago but hopefully we can somehow pull this off.

John Morling, the manager of the BHA Academy, was very involved in the Irish FA youth set up and ran their under 16s. I suspect that he and Lenihan know each other, or, at least, know of each other.
