Are Crawley better than The Albion?

Crawley players who could get into our team

Jensen, I think is better than Stockdale
Walsh, Palace were after him, £750k-rated defender
Simpson, attacking midfielder on a par with Stephens
McLeod, better than COG

That's probably it but such is the disarray at the moment I think the teams are very close.

Wes Thomas goalscorer for Brum couldn't get into the Crawley team 2-3 seasons ago

When was the last time we only had one goal keeper on the books? And couldn't fill the subs bench?

They only named 5 subs and knowing they only had 1 keeper surely the answer was to sign their GK coach as a player or even FDM for a month as cover or get Ankergren on a 1 month emergency loan.

They could but they don't have a goalkeeping coach

Up & till December, it was highly probable that the Albion would be playing their football in league 1 next season & not inconceivable that Crawley could go up. Now the natural gap between the teams is more apparent & looking as if there will be two leagues between the teams next campaign. Still a long way to go

I'm not sure Crawley have "fallen away badly". They weren't much cop for much of last season and their decline has continued. It's no surprise to see them where they are.

That post on this thread claiming Brian Jensen is better than Stockdale is a bit embarrassing now. Not one of those four players named would get in our (still relegation threatened) side.
