We all know that when replacing players at your club and the "one ambition" is promotion its important to get players who have walked the walk.

Thats why im particularly excited that the majority of our signings: Stockdale, Hughes, and O Grady All represented sides that ended up at the right end of their divisions last season. We will really be excelling if we can add McCourt to the list! Happy days indeed. [emoji3]

Reminds me of a Leeds fan telling me how excited he was when they signed three of Pompey's relegated squad.

Generally you're in a relegated team for a reason.

Hughes was promoted with QPR.

And intially played and was subsequently released by a relagated Fulham. The QPR stint was especially bit part according to a fulham friend.

Yes a quick search shows he made a total of 11 appearances some as sub. Game changing transfer that.
