Ward deal hijacked by Burnley
Albion's deal to bring Stephen Ward back to the Amex has been hijacked by Premier League newcomers Burnley.
Ward was due at the Amex this afternoon for a medical after the Seagulls had agreed a fee with Wolves and the Republic of Ireland left-back had agreed personal terms with the Seagulls.
But Ward failed to show up, leaving Albion fuming.
Burnley are also thought to have agreed a fee with Wolves and Ward is now expected to join them instead.
