You're all missing a trick here....
You need to add some beef dripping into the sandwich. Two nice thick slices of white bloomer with butter, then add a scraping of beef dripping - make sure you get even amounts of the brown jelly-dripping as well as the white top part. Then add the beef and away you go.

Horseradish and rocket had it for lunch.
Freshly baked bloomer cut thick, buttered, hot roast beef, Colmans, fried onions and a nice glass of red. Then a nap.
