Yeh but 6-10 mil would be a huge huge gamble to 90% of the 92 FL clubs..!
The figures in football these days that are brushed off as 'not a lot' are astronomical. We really should've done wage caps and transfer caps a long long time ago

Concur, however there is no chance of that happening unless the other European Leagues follow.

With the terms OWNED and MUGGED , you must be a relatively young fan .
You wouldn't remember Mr Archer paying a percentage of money due to local businesses ,a fact that has been confirmed by some esteemed posters on here.
Also the small matter of a £200 mill , and growing, gift from TB , some will see that as gaining an unfair advantage.
There's no doubt that TB would have done a Jack Walker ( ex Blackburn Rovers chairman, who brought them the title) if it wasn't for FFP.
When you can run a sustainable club, without TB pumping in £10 mill every season, you can take the moral high ground.
