Shown the door? He's premier league quality, Sunderland want to keep him, and he'll have other offers if he's going (from PL clubs). He's got a year left on his contract, so if Gus wants to show him the door, they'll have to pay his contract first.

Thought COG was the hold up guy, back to goal, holding play up and bringing others in We need an out and out poacher now - rare commodities that cost big bucks. Still think Callum Wilson would have been a good addition to our strike force but never mind.
