It's quite sad really, even Sami is showing an underlying frustration. By the time we get around to signing people at the end of August I wonder how tempted they'll be by the side one or two points above Blackpool.

My guess is the 3 pieces of news will be : a goalkeeper signing, Ward transfer still in limbo, Lingard loan very close.


Probably too soon to wish for the top striker to replace Leo.

Like January all over again. 14 players leave or return to their respective clubs, (since Jan) including LB/LU/MU/AB etc and we have very little to show for it.apart from some cash in bank. seriously weaker than a year ago and no real indication of things changing..

Maybe consolidation is the intent this season? Maybe we're all just looking at this with the previous 2 seasons tainting us. Maybe Bloom and Burkes entire idea is a year or two of bottom half scrapping while we boost our academy etc? Obviously they've not told Sami this from his response so far.
