Leo Ulloa is surrounded by Derby fans after the play-off second leg

Leo Ulloa has told Albion fans he “was not even thinking of goodbyes” when he thanked them after play-off defeat.
But the Argentinean, pictured, believes he can improve next season, no matter who is in charge.
The Seagulls striker is likely to be the subject of transfer speculation this summer after scoring 16 goals in a season interrupted by injury, He stayed on the pitch at Derby to clap Albion supporters as hordes of home fans charged on to the pitch after their side’s 4-1 play-off win on Sunday.
Ulloa told The Argus: “Those people support us all year.
“It was for the people who went to Derby and for the people who go every week to the Amex.
“I was sorry the season finished the way it did.
“Going over to the supporters was the least I could do.
“That is all I was thinking about at that moment after the final whistle went.
“Going over to thank them for the season and for that match, which did not go well.
“It wasn’t Goodbye. It was just Thanks.
“I’ve got three more years on my contract. I wasn’t even thinking about goodbyes.”
