Sorry only had to get to Nottingham

Pig 5/10. A couple of good second half saves but loses 1 point for not saving the goal, the wall looked a bit devoid of men and also I was stood directly behind him and he had enough time to see it.

Bruno 7/10. Would have been a point less if he had not scored, having said that having to play right back and right midfield would take its toll on any of us....yes midfield where were you?

GG 6/10. Made a few tackles and missed a couple, distribution could have been more accurate down the right channel although players up front it's not a surprise where the ball is going!!!

Dunk 7/10. Missed a couple of tackles but second half considering he was on a yellow dealt with there counter attacks very well and made some good last challenges and tackles. Gains 1 point extra for the superb ball through to Bruno to score, we didn't look like getting close up to this point.

Ward 5/10. Not his best game for us an off day for him, not a criticism for some one who has had recent good games just an observation.

On the whole the defence was average first half and much better second half. Apart from Bruno who we know has apparently fallen out already with Pig? It was concerning to see the rest of the back four having individual points to make with Pig through the first half.

Stephens 4/10. Very infective in this game, I hardly noticed him and if Solly was on the left then Stephens forgot he was on the right?

Andrews 6/10. If there was any good news from midfield today he was it, broke down some of their plays and instigated some of our forward plays.

March 5/10. No impact and when it came to crosses it just wasn't his day.

Midfield....below average first half and average second half.

KLL 4/10. No impact, when he got the ball he either lost it, fell over or pushed it to far, not his day?

Lingard 4/10 no impact and very ineffective, no support play with Ulloa at all, not his day?

Ulloa 6/10. Scored a goal in the first half but as ref already had stopped play for bustling in the box hardly surprising when he scratched it off Damn!!! Let down today by some midfield and other forward players.

Ref 5/10. Could and should have done better with some decisions but having been a ref it ain't easy especially at this level and with everything at stake. Thought GG yellow was very harsh as all involved with Huds time wasting was a disgrace!!!

Away team and fans 3/10. Team played like they had gone down to ten men after they scored in the sixth minute and the time wasting was frustrating and disgraceful. Fans were very quite, shame they have to watch their team play that way!!!

Subs....CMS 5/10. Needs match game time but did make a difference when he came on.

Lopez. N/A

Roll on Monday.....come on you Seagulls!!!!

A real mixed bag of a game after our classy performance away at Leicester. The soft-ish free kick awarded by an overly pedantic Ref and subsequent sweetly struck shot beat TK too easily, he didn't even get a hand on it which was disappointing. HTFC (including their ball boys) then elevated time wasting to a new art, beyond even what Derby achieved against us.

A draw was probably a fair result although I'm not sure why Ulloa's great header was disallowed? Other than that we huffed and puffed but never really capitalised on our possession with too many poor crosses, over hit corners and hoofed balls forward. However given the other results today I can accept this average performance and the point looks decent rather than 2 more points lost.

TK: 7 - a couple of sharp saves and saved our blushes when (Dunk?) made a suicidal pass in our own box
Bruno: 7 - this flatters his typically erratic performance but he did get that vital equaliser
Greer: 7 - steady, unlucky to get a yellow but still showed that tendency to hoof the ball forward
Dunk: 6 - understandably rusty but good to see him get a game. a couple of errors that could have been critical in the context of making the play offs. A reminder of how assured Upson is.
Ward: 6 - average by his standards
Andrews: 6 - a tad generous because he was frustrating today, we needed him to put his foot on the ball but too often he was facing our goal or gave the ball away
Stephens: 6 - similar to Andrews plus didn't have his usual eye for an incisive pass
March: 6 - ok, his best moment was a mazy driblle into their box just after he had been badly clattered and didn't get noticed by the Ref
KLL: 5 - not really in the game and got a huge bollocking from the bench for not chasing back, after which his head dropped. Without Buckley and KLL to alternate in giving us pace on the pitch we look a bit too predictable
Lingard: 6 - lots of nice flicks and sharp turns but not his day
Ulloa: 7 - looked unlucky with a disallowed header but not his day either

CMS: 6 - good to see him get more of a run out and showed lots of energy, but nothing fell for him.

Hard not to agree with any of your ratings as no-one stood out as having a good game. I appreciate March is only young but he needs to look up more often than he does, countless times Ward ran and overlapped him yet Solly didn't even look to see he was there, Wardy had a little word with him after this happened on too many occasions.

Totally agree - it is great to see March get an extended run in the starting line up but he is at risk of wasting his chance if he fails to look up. Yes he is young but needs to eradicate this trait, too often there are other players making runs into space around him or maybe there is an opening for him to take a shot - but he fails spot this. Hopefully he can sort this out. It is good to hear that senior players are having a constructive word with him.

On the plus side Solly does have that half a yard of pace and quick feet which gets him into promising positions, including a couple of times today when he mugged their defenders and also earned us some valuable free kicks.

I though March played better than he's getting credit for.

First time ive seen Brighton in the flesh this season, and it was a frustrating performance from you. All in all much the better team and dominant in possesion but you never looked like scoring, or even creating anything really. The stats show 66 percent possession but only two shots on target and that tells the story really.

Individually.

Kuschack - made a great save to keep it 1-0 from a blasted free kick, and had a decent game. Not really called upon that often.
Saltor - did well, good goal too.
Centre halves. Greer good, Dunk was really poor and made a lot of mistakes.
Ward - did ok nothing more than that.
Lingard - i thought he was poor today.
Lua lua. - offered a threat, a lot better than Lingard and i was surprised he was subbed.
Centre mids. - so frustrating. Never seen two players so negative in possession, sideways an backwards. Did their defensive jobs ok, but with the ball they were useless.
Ulloa. - worked hard an deserved better service.
March - thought he played ok, looked tricky.
Cms - offered a threat when he came on.

Tactically - Brightons keep ball style is great if its fast incisive passing, not so much if, like today, its slow and sideways. Frustrating.

He isn't playing badly, it's just that he could be even better......I think most fans recognise he is young and still developing as a Championship player and are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, as long as he shows progress. These are constructive thoughts - and we all wish him well.

I also think it is great that Oscar is giving him his chance (as with Ince too) - it wouldn't have happened under Gus! It would be so easy to just play Lopez etc instead of March.

Koosh 7: A few Keystone Kop moments in terms of communication but two superb second half saves kept us in it.
Bruno 7: 88 minutes of class, well taken goal, mixed with some dreadful risk taking and misplaced passes.
Greer 6: Calm and collected
Dunk 5: Some excellent tackles, but the push that caused Leo's goal to be disallowed, plus a scything yellow card and bust up with Koosh mark him down.
Ward 6: Very solid in the main but also responsible for an awful back pass which could have led to a second for Town.
Andrews 6: Won a lot of balls but didn't do much with them.
Stephens 5: Mixed dead ball efforts and little seen of him in opposition half.
Kaz 4: Ineffective today, played too centrally
March 5: Flattered to deceive, often ended up in blind alleys but a couple of promising runs.
Lingard 5: looked lightweight today, too often tried the fancy flick rather than controlling the ball.
Ulloa 6: Won fair share in air, had one good headed chance that would have had Barnes lynched.

Subs: CMS 4: Alarmingly poor first touch and some weak headed attempts at corners
Lopez 4: Brought on for dead ball opportunities. A bit wimpish in challenges.
