The squeaky bum scenario will be that, by the time the last game of the season comes, it will be between us and Reading for the final place in the playoffs. We will go into the game at Forest with one more point than Reading and a better goal difference than them. If Forest beat us and Reading can only draw against Burnley, we'll still get into the playoffs ... unless we lose to Forest by too big a margin, in which case Reading will overtake us.
Hoping for both the Albion AND Burnley not to concede another goal is the worst possible frame of mind to enjoy the end of a football match. Almost as bad as Hereford.
