Last season Man Utd finished 28 points ahead of Liverpool who are currently 23 points ahead of Man Utd. I suspect Moyes won't be The Chosen One next season unfortunately.

That looked a pretty strong UTD side and they were terrible.

Front four of Nani, Mata, Kagawa and Rooney, Fletcher and Carrick holding!

Moyes looks like he cant motivate this team and tactically always looks wanting.

I think he is getting some really unfair stick. Following Fergie was always going to be hard and there are only a handful of managers who could have kept them near the top, especially with that squad. The players have also got to take a long hard look at themselves.

You should write their names on a piece of paper and send it to the Manchester United board. Though, on second thoughts, it's probably similar to the same list the rest of us, who aren't paid mega-thousands to work in the football business or are rich enough to own a football club, have.

I'm a little sorry for the bloke for being out of his depth in this job, but he's had an easy ride. I can just imagine what the press would have made of it had someone like Benitez screwed things up this badly so quickly.

Most of the players seem to expect someone else to make things happen rather than doing something about it themselves. A number of them simply aren't good enough - jones, smalling, fabio, Evans and fletcher for starters.

Last season RvP was on fire, Roo st was also scoring goals, Scholes was pulling the strings in midfield and the players wanted to play for Fergie. So far this season Moyes has not had any of those.

Don't understand why people are so desperate for Utd to fail. This season it looks likely Liverpool will win the league. They were bad enough to claim to be a huge club despite winning very little of decades. How bad will the scouse be now??

As for city, classless team who have won the league by way of the chequebook. Yes Utd have always spent money but at the same time as bringing players through the youth team. Only player City have brought through is Hart!

Would rather Utd or Chelsea won the league but that won't happen now.

Chelsea? They're as bad as City............but even a smaller club.

Who apart form Terry have they brought through, or likely to bring through?

Ferguson screwed Moyes over. The united "fans" should be blaming him for not ensuring that his successor had a decent legacy to continue Uniteds success. Instead he left Moyes with an ageing and slightly above average squad on stupid contracts.

Moyes is a good manager and coach and he will prove it next year with or without united.

True, however at least Mourinho brings some colour to the league with his comments. Pellegrini is a proper miserable ****

Moyes out to be replaced by Louis Van Gaal and Poyet to Tottenham. If as suggested Garcia to Swansea and replaced by Sherwood. Just a thought.

Sherwood is going to Norwich, Garcia isn't going anywhere and Spurs aren't likely to be looking anywhere near Poyet...beyond that, flawless.
