Reports that CPFC value Murray as being worth £2m in deal for Conor Whickham so it must be worth TB offering £2m for him, a proven goalscorer at this level.

Wickham to Palace? Would a be a big downward step, and I doubt CP offer the wages Newcastle, WHU, etc would be willing to pay.

Poyet (belatedly in a forlorn PR exercise after his mega Murray mistake), waffled on about budgets back in Summer 2011 when he reckoned he couldn't have afforded to give Murray a pay rise. Which would have been to £6k per week, when CMS, Hoskins, Buckley, Vicente joined all on at least £10k per week.

He plays off a big target man. Just look at his Peterborough highlights poaching balls off McLean.

Kind of weird that an Albion fan and a Palace fan can feel the same way about the same player
I loved GM when he was here and the most gutted I've ever been to see a player leave.
I just like the way he carries himself as well, no Billy big bollox where he is concerned. I really want him to get a crack at the premier league, absolutely every part of me says he will score a good number of goals. He may not go on a run and score but give him the ball in and around the box and he will score.

As much as I like Glenn, I can't hope he scores goals for palace sorry but I just can't. I'd drive to Croydon(shudder) myself and pick him up though to get him back here... Hang on, he still lives in Brighton right? Get him in

for 2 million, i'd go for him over Baldock, proven at this level and to watch the palace fans reaction would be worth the money alone....
