Where did I blame the police for anything? I just tried to garner opinions on the chain of events. Isn't this board here for opinions and the like?

I can't report having lost any sleep over the news that a thief has been seriously injured whilst trying to evade capture.

In fact, a large part of me thought of me thought, "good."
