Is what's left of the 'West Pier' worth saving?

Fill in the gaps with panes of glass and we canhave our own Crystal Palace out at sea

Would look nice although the glare could be a problem on sunny days

I remember watching the filming of Carry On Girls at the pier with Sid James driving a Go Kart for a get away scene. I was about 5 or 6 at the time.

Here you go this is Sid James on the West Pier Go Kart.

At 13:40 in the movie there is some good footage of the West Pier and worth a watch.

No idea, I'm neither an architect nor a structural engineer, but I'd very much like it to happen and I'm sure most true Brightonians do too.
