Subs: Kaz 5: Started bright but quiet second half

5's across the board to be honest.

Spanish Rodney looked promising and had great pace. If we play our cards right we might be able to sell him to a promotion rival.

Solly March, 7 - the only player the confidence to take players on and the vision to try something. He's turning into an incredibly exciting talent and was the only positive from today.

Awful, awful, awful. Why start with no pace on the wings? Why does Spanish continue to start when there is no sign whatsoever of any improvement to his dire form? Why can't we pass to a blue and white shirt? Why is there no real effort displayed by most of the team?

Kuszczack 6. Thought he could maybe have done a bit better with the first goal.
Bruno 5. Back to his worst (almost). At fault for the first goal.
Greer 3. Very poor.
Upson 5. Way off his best. Probably not helped by Greer's awful performance.
Ward 6. Best of the back four, but not at his best.
Andrews 5. Wasn't impressed. 5 is probably generous.
JFC 4. Didn't see him do anything of note.
Stephens 5. OK, but difficult to judge when his team-mates having such an awful game.
Lopez 2. He's getting worse.
Orlandi 6. Best of the midfield. Why was he subbed?
Ulloa 5. Way off his best, but did appear to put in a bit more effort than recently. clearly frustrated by lack of decent service.

Subs:
KLL 6. Started brightly, then faded alarmingly. Far too much time in the middle.
Rodrigues 5. Quick. Would like to see more of him.
March 8. Made an immediate impact. Quick, direct, strong, great ball control. HE NEEDS TO START. MOM

Manager 2. Crap team selection. Crap tactics. Premier League ready??? Mid-table ready more like.

Haven't seen such a disjointed Albion performance for a while. OK we had a new player (Stephens) and understandable if he wasn't on the right wavelength but actually he did ok. He certainly pings his passes around the pitch and delivers a decent corner.

However our back four often looked like total strangers and Greer in particular had a mare. Both Watford goals were gifted by poor defending.

The form of Lopez and Andrews is worrying. They are both erratic and Lopez is largely a passenger, even more peripheral than of late. Even his dead ball stuff is lame.

Ulloa was unlucky and it isn't his fault that we start games with him so isolated. There seems little point in having comfortable and pretty possession in our own half if it culminates in the ball getting lumped forward in the direction of Ulloa. Unless his first touch is perfect then the spare defenders just mop up and hey we've lost possession again. Ok a few times but tragic over 70 minutes. Plus yet another Ref failed to give Ulloa a fair crack of the whip.

JFC's injury did us a favour in forcing Oscar's hand much earlier than usual - giving us the width we needed and KLL nearly scored a belter within seconds of coming. I thought we're in for a cracking 2nd half, but no KLL just drifted in midfield. What a waste.

So all 5's except Greer 3, Andrews and Lopez 4 and Orlandi 6.

Subs: KLL and Rodriguez: 6, March 7. All the Subs looked lively and up for it - they deserve a start.

Oh dear. Second worst performance of the season (behind Ipswich away), imo. We looked devoid of ideas and again suffered from a lack of connection from back to front. We were also narrow, even when Kaz came on (except for his first 10 minutes). I think we could have played for another 90 minutes without seriously threatening to score. Recently, we've been strong at the back and weak up front. Today, we were weak in both areas, hence a 2-0 loss against a very average Championship side.

Koosh 4: Partially at fault for their first goal, imo. Quite how he squeezed it in at the far post from that angle baffles me - Koosh must have not quite got his positioning right. At least his distribution was again a bit better than recent games; no kick went directly into touch.
Bruno 4: Definitely stood off attacking players and not just for their first goal, though he certainly did. Little in the way of flair to offset the poor defending.
Ward 6: By far the best of our back four today, but tbh, that's not saying an awful lot.
Greer 3: Very poor. Horrendous mistake for their second.
Upson 5: By his immense standards, a nondescript game.
JFC 5: Didn't do that much before pinging his ham.
Stephens 6: A decent enough start. Must have wondered what he'd done by coming to us.
Andrews 5: Tried getting forward, made some mistakes at the back.
Lopez 3: I honestly can't think of a single good thing he did today. Perhaps one pass?
Orlandi 5: Ok, I guess.
Ulloa 4: His form is still way off. Two weeks ago I commented on how balls to his feet were bouncing off him. Today, it wasn't just balls to feet that bounced off him. Every ball that came to him, bar one, bounced off; sometimes by as much as four feet, which is three feet too many if you have a CB on you all the time. Sure, the service he is receiving is very poor, which must frustrate the hell out of him, but that does not and cannot excuse his dreadful touch at the moment. Lack of fitness doesn't explain it either. So, what does? Confidence, perhaps? It needs fixing and it needs fixing now.

Subs:

Kaz 6: Instant impact, with a stunning shot. Why, oh why, did he play the whole of the second half as inside left?
Rodney 6: Fast! Got into nice positions. Definitely wanted to make an impact.
March 7: Only on for 10 minutes, but made a strong impact. Start him instead of Spanish Dave.

Kuszczack 5. Liked his red kit.
Bruno 0 Can't do what he's supposed to do DEFEND.
Greer 0 Not a captain, not a top Championship defender, the weak link.
Upson 5 OK but hindered by those around him
Ward 5 OK
Andrews 4 This man should be stopped from threatening the crowd with his shooting.
JFC 3 Seems to have lost his way and got a taxi to the changing rooms.
Stephens 5. OK
Lopez 0 Terrible, a waster why oh why does he get picked week in week out.
Orlandi 4 Best of the midfield.
Ulloa 3 Please look interested

Subs:
KLL 3 Started brightly, then faded alarmingly. Far too much time in the middle.
Rodrigues 5. Quick
March 1000 Showed more effort than all the others in just running on the pitch. Shameful on all the others

Lopez - was subbed 30 minutes too late
Ulloa - 6-games and counting fitness not the issue something is wrong
Greer - always has these mistakes in his locker
Oscar - looks like a lost little boy out of his depth, doesn't seem able to motivate the team
