Tony Pulis is a fantastic manager if what you want is to stay in the EPL. Granted, it isn't the best football in the world to watch but he proves it time and time again. I still can't believe how many people mocked Palace for appointing him as he is absolutely perfect for them and will more than likely keep them up.

It's a pretty loose definition of giving them a game - chasing round after Arsenal while they have 70-80% of possession is commendable but it's not really giving them a game.

It would seem descriptions of Gus don't necessarily transfer to similar managers in almost identical situations, not when it concerns a rival club.

Game was over by that point, we missed an absolute sitter at 1-0 as well.
