PIG 6: kicking is poor but made one superb save.
Bruno 6: Solid but didn't venture over half way line much.
Ward 5: Couple of errors could have cost us dear.
Greer 7: looked after Vokes well
Upson 7: cooler than a frozen cucumber sandwich
Andrews 8: excellent. Created a good shield in front of the defence
Ince 6: Fought hard but found it difficult
JFC 7: Had a couple of half chances in first half and battled all game
KLL 6: Didn't create much by his standards but stretched them at times
Lopez 4: Very quiet
Ulloa 5: Felt for him, won a fair amount in air against two big defenders but had no support

Orlandi 6: Silky but missed a good chance

A draw was a fair result. We had three very good chances but Burnley hit post and PIG made wonder save

Sounds like a good defensive display against a team that doesn't drop many points at home.

And what exactly does Spanish Dave do?

Need Bridcutt situation sorted quickly and two new players in before Sunday.

Were the Burnley fans justified in booing our injured players (Andrews and Lualua)....were they time wasting?

Kaz looked bad, briefly, recovered pretty quickly to be fair though.
Andrews standard clash of heads, don't know why he went off though, to come back on a minute later.

Pretty much agree will El P except when it comes to JFC who I thought had a very poor game. Ulloa's not pulling up trees either. Andrews had a great game as did Upson. Fair point.

Think we fell asleep for the first one, he was never going to score from there though without a lot of luck.

told me you don't need to leave the field for a head injury unless you are bleeding.

If that's correct, maybe somebody should inform that "bleeding" referee.

He really was poor.

This is the law:

Injured players
The referee must adhere to the following procedure when dealing with injured
players:
• play is allowed to continue until the ball is out of play if a player is, in the
opinion of the referee, only slightly injured
• play is stopped if, in the opinion of the referee, a player is seriously injured
• after questioning the injured player, the referee may authorise one, or at
most two doctors, to enter the fi eld of play to assess the injury and arrange
the player’s safe and swift removal from the fi eld of play
• stretcher-bearers should only enter the fi eld of play with a stretcher
following a signal from the referee
• the referee must ensure an injured player is safely removed from the fi eld of
play
• a player is not allowed to receive treatment on the fi eld of play
• any player bleeding from a wound must leave the fi eld of play. He may not
return until the referee is satisfi ed that the bleeding has stopped. A player is
not permitted to wear clothing with blood on it
• as soon as the referee has authorised the doctors to enter the fi eld of play,
the player must leave the fi eld of play, either on a stretcher or on foot. If a
player does not comply, he must be cautioned for unsporting behaviour
• an injured player may only return to the fi eld of play after the match has
restarted
• when the ball is in play, an injured player must re-enter the fi eld of play
from the touch line. When the ball is out of play, the injured player may reenter
from any of the boundary lines
• irrespective of whether the ball is in play or not, only the referee is
authorised to allow an injured player to re-enter the fi eld of play
• the referee may give permission for an injured player to return to the fi eld
of play if an assistant referee or the fourth offi cial verifi es that the player is
ready
• if play has not otherwise been stopped for another reason, or if an injury
suffered by a player is not the result of a breach of the Laws of the Game,
the referee must restart play with a dropped ball from the position of the
ball when play was stopped, unless play was stopped inside the goal area,
in which case the referee drops the ball on the goal area line parallel to the
goal line at the point nearest to where the ball was located when play was
stopped
• the referee must allow for the full amount of time lost through injury to be
played at the end of each period of play
• once the referee has decided to issue a card to a player who is injured and
has to leave the fi eld of play for treatment, the referee must issue the card
before the player leaves the fi eld of play

Exceptions to this ruling are to be made only when:
• a goalkeeper is injured
• a goalkeeper and an outfi eld player have collided and need immediate
attention
• players from the same team have collided and need immediate attention
• a severe injury has occurred, e.g. swallowed tongue, concussion, broken leg

Doesn't say anything about head injuries being exempt.

Burnley fans are never very pleasant.
Kaz was kicked on the back of the ankle and KA elbowed by Ash - both ignored by a very inept referee.
Kaz was booed for most of the match - totally unjustified - hope this did to reflect their love of BNP up here.

Agree with the majority. Thought Ward was a 6, 2 mistakes but bar that kept them very quiet and looked to get forward. Ulloa is a very harsh 5, considering the amount of times he was both fouled and (wrongly) conceding fouls he did very well, a 7 from me.

For my sins i was sitting with the home fans in the battered stand to the right of the away support (which was superb for a shitty tuesday night in january 300 miles away from home) and it has been some time since a referee was quite as clueless as this one, missed some clear yellow cards and clear fouls yet decided to book Ulloa late on due to the crowd.

The booing of kaz for me was basically because there was such little else going on. They were unlucky with the woodwork shots but we really should have won it in the 85th. Reminded me a lot of the wigan away match - soak up the pressure, ride our luck and then nick a win, almost. Ulloa looked sporadically interested in a role Barnes played much more effectively away from home. Upson and Greer were outstanding for me, Bruno had moments of class and moments of idiocy. Ince is still very raw but while not looking terribly pretty was effective. For me no one else really stood out.
