Albion have been drawn at home to Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The draw with a Premier League side*is a reward for Saturday's 3-1 fourth round victory away to Port Vale.
Steve Bruce's Hull side got through with a 2-0 win at Southend.
Albion have an excellent home record against the Tigers, having only ever lost once in Sussex, which was back in 1965.
The Seagulls have entertained Hull on 20 occasions since, winning 15 games and drawing five.
The tie is due to take place on Saturday February 15, subject to television.
