Really is the pits, isn't it? Was looking forward to Man City v Watford, they hardly showed anything apart from the goals and somehow completely failed to reflect the drama of the game. Apparently there was a good chance for Watford to go three up, which they didn't even show. Yet they have about 5-10 mins of inane interviews and chat afterwards. Why not show more of the actual matches - who cares what Clarke Carlisle thinks?

Will probably show extended highlights of Bournemouth v Liverpool, which most people would of watched live earlier. Poor

In the "spirit" of the cup, Southend V Hull should have been a live game, but no, Chelsea V Stoke is on tomorrow. WTF?

You just know that MU would have been live whoever they were playing. That's what I hate about the recent commercialism of the cup. I guess ITV need to maximise income, the BBC would have shown the right games.

It's expensive to get/send out the equipment and production staff needed to adequately provide extended highlights for a game, so these highlights shows tend to use the footage and man power of televised games for the extended highlights, and the basics for the rest of the matches. It's the same for the football league show on the BBC.

The Kidderminster badge was somehow Watford's, it really is appalling.

I'm guessing only Huddersfield v Charlton is going to stop us being last on

TBH I would expect a Championship side V a league 1 side to be down the order of priority.

Why did they have the BT Sport commentary on the Everton game? Bit noddy, isn't it?
