As the original story had no quotes and Pullis has directly said he's not going anywhere and has referred to his time at Stoke as an indication of how he views management then I'd say that's that.

The BBS has a strong percentage who feel there is both a media conspiracy, and a refs/football authorities conspiracy against Palace.
This percentage of their dolts don't seem to be able to look closer to home for the obvious answers

Although it appears positive that Pulis is denying a rift between himself and CPFC2010, perhaps it should not be simply taken at face value. These rumours did not only appear in the redtops but in some more respected newspapers too. No smoke without fire may be apt.
The speculation had reached a point where a public reaction was needed from both sides. First it came from Steve Browett on here followed by the Pulis press conference. And he clearly could not confirm the problem exists. So he praises the fans, the battle for hearts and minds is important. He praises what CPFC2010 have done for the club, which is undeniable. But follows it by categorically stating that any opinion they hold on recruitment is valueless. He thanks Moody for his help, but also says that he is only looking to bring in players with PL experience. As Moody was appointed to use his knowledge of Europe to seek value by bringing in lesser known players from abroad his input is largely irrelevant. (Although he was probably instrumental in bringing Mo Sissoko over on trial). So the position of Moody is marginalised.
Pulis is a very clever man and his conference was brilliant in furthering his cause. Have no doubt, there is a power struggle here which has been going on for some time. But we must remember that Pulis was appointed with the task of keeping us in the PL, with substantial incentives for achieving that. And he clearly believes that he needs experienced players to fulfill that brief. Should he be criticised for his singleminded attitude in seeking that ? Of course not, unless he fails !
The signs of a rift have been there for some time. The timing and manner of the coming of Kemp and Francis was interesting. It would have been more understandable if they had been brought in quickly to fill specific roles. But both have vague job descriptions, and their appointments may have more to do with empire building and providing moral support for Pulis than anything else.
So where does Steve Parish stand in this ? It must be remembered that he is a Palace fan above all else and must share some of the same beliefs and doubts as many other supporters. As a businessman he knows how vital PL survival is and must support Pulis in every way possible. But he also knows that we cannot risk our future by overspending and finding ourselves in a QPR situation. Does bringing in Pulis players compromise our future ? Experienced PL players will demand long term contracts and high wages, and often the prospect of a resale value far below what we will have to pay in the madness of a transfer window. As an example, could a deal for Peter Crouch ever make financial sense ? Clearly the appointment of Ian Moody showed that Parish had aspirations that we could follow a different course and find some hidden gems from abroad. But Pulis has closed the door firmly on this, so does Parish now just give up on it ?
Many of us find the Pulis selection policy frustrating. There is the impression that if there were no injuries or suspensions he would field the same 11 players every week, irrespective of the opposition, home or away, and the form of the players. As a Palace fan Steve Parish must share some of those frustrations. Does he believe the work rate of Jerome is currently more valuable than the goal threat of Gayle ? Should Ward be in his best position ?
Pulis wants to bring in five experienced PL players. IF (thats a very big IF) it happens where does it leave our younger players ? The likes of Bannan, Williams and even Gayle would be unlikely to even find a spot on the bench.
There is more to come about this, I am sure.

To be fair there are one or two like Croydonbloke and SJLM and Dougie but they are few and far between.

And lets face it they can't willy wave against anyone in the premier league, as there is no other team in that league who would even consider themselves that low to be a rival to Crystal Palace.
Can you see them going on the Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs boards trying to impress them with how much money their board have, what a good ground they have, what a wonderful academy they have and the players they have brought through. Doesn't work does it.

To be fair, that's pretty much as it would be if we were there. Unless of course we both graced (well we would grace) the top flight again. Come to think of it, although my memory may be playing tricks with me, we seemed to usually have the upper hand in div 1.
