I can remember whacking a 6 and clearing the houses to the left looking away from the pavilion and hearing a crunch as it hit a greenhouse.

It is a small village green. Cricket has been played there since 1790 making it one of the oldest cricket clubs

I'm impressed - my club celebrated its 150th anniversary last year, but you put us to shame!try tweeting Bumble or Aggers -they quite often retweet clubs looking for players (mention the age of the club to give it added interest)
