Does this waving of huge flags by clubs at the side of the pitch annoy you?

Personally I think it is like trying to create an atmosphere like goal music and the. Like.

It's looks really tacky

Chelski do it and I also note the arse do so also.

Please god let's hope we don't ever see their likes at the Amex

Not as much as that flashing board around the Amex, that really irritates me.

Didn't Gully's Girls wave big flags when the teams came out?

Not at all. Love it. Never understand why people would have a problem with colour/razzmatazz at football.

When it's done by the fans, no. When it's a corporate gesture - yes. Let the fans organise it - I dare them.

I'm not fond of it. But I am annoyed by the camera focusing on the ball as the players come out and the ref picks it off the podium.

You would have absolutely loved the scrolling perimeter advertising at Derby all of a sudden turning brilliant white so you lost focus on where the ball was on the pitch.

In a pile of football shirts
When I have watched league football in European countries, there tends to be a bit (lot) more fan organised razzmatazz, flags, banners, pyros, jumping about like they're enjoying themselves etc., as well as better coordination for chanting/singing. I guess we're getting a bit into 'Ultra' territory here, but for some reason the good old British stiff upper lip prevails and we stifle any such joyous celebration the game we profess to love.
