RIP

Pretty flippin insensitive that the BBC article starts with "Well known for his rubbery face"... really? All those great TV moments and thats how he's remembered?

That is sad.

Played a massive role in one of the funniest TV moments of all time. RIP, Dave.

Agreed, but I'd also say the whole writing of a character who just couldn't get Rodney's name right, and the utterly confused portrayal of that notion - and it carried on right the way through - was probably better.

"If it's a girl they're gonna name it Sigourney, after the actress. And if it's a boy they're gonna name him Rodney, after Dave..."

Remember David Jason saying that the fact that the brilliant and so intelligent Lloyd Pack can play a dimwit like Trigger an acting master class. Will be sadly missed. RIP.
