Barnes.
Both great servants for us, but Bridcutt is PL bound anyway with a transfer in this window or the next. With Ince now, let's cash in with a big fee. In addition, Barnes is suited to our current level of top half Championship (and deserves pay commensurate with that), and we always have a shortage of fit strikers.

He never would have the earned the money the likes of Upson, Kuszchak, Orlandi and CMS are on, nor demanded that. The Club have made a decision of modest contract offers for the likes of Barnes with the added pressure of FFP.

But this will only work for us this season if there are other quality striker/s lined up, who will be with us all the way until May and who have a similarly good record with few injuries.
