To be fair, a lot of posts people will rep if there are already lots of thumbs ups for it. It's like one thumbs up soon turns into 2 plus-reps and then people will start clicking the button before even reading the post. Because let's face it, if it has 100 "likes", it's GOT to be witty/clever/insightful (delete as applicable). Right?
