Just a touch overly cynical no?
My guess is that an average 10% to 15% of season ticket holders are no-shows at any given match (that's the figure I was quoted on an Amex tour) and with Bournemouth being touted as 30K sold the actual bums on seats is likely to be around 26000 minimum.

ESL was about 40% full.

Reckon was 23k tops there.

Maybe I've missed this but why are the park and rides not operating as normal?

Im only talking about those who turned up.

Definitely 5,000 of those who didnt.

huh? The guy said that there couldn't have been 8,000 empty seats, which would be the case if you were correct re: 23k tops...?

I think the club has stripped out the transport levy to get the tickets as cheap as possible , having 2 out of 3 P&R sites working could be the breakeven point.

Credit to Reading, that's a good effort for what is a pretty dull draw for them too. Expected about 700 tops.

So you're saying there were EIGHT THOUSAND empty seats? No chance.

Or in other words, empty seats which could have covered the whole of the Withdean.

I'd say there were more than 8,000 empty seats. It amazes me that people don't see them. I'd say the North was about 65% full = 1,400 empty seats. East 70% full = 2,400 empty seats; acres of room in the south corners = 1,500 empty seats. Couldn't see the west as I was sat there so will say a conservative 75% full = 3,125 empty seats. Which makes 8,425. Obviously these figures are only rough.

You need to change the record mate,.. your constant bleating about 'bums on seats' etc etc is effin tedious.... give it a rest will you?!!

I'd agree the North looked a tad empty yesterday but the ESL looked pretty good.
