He seems to work for some kind of agency in Spain. I'm pretty sure he arranged our pre-season tour this year.

he was at Lincoln in the Conference for a bit last season but I think they got rid. The racial discrimination case against Gillingham - even though he won - was probably the last nail in the coffin of an ailing career.

Think I spotted Chris Birchall playing for Port Vale alongside Doug Loft recently.
Doug is closing in on 200 league games for the valiants since leaving us in 2009.

digressing slightly but we have a number of ex players who are currently managing.. Danny Wilson back at Barnsley, Chris Wilder at Oxford, Barker at Pompey and Gregory replacing him at Crawley plus Stuart Storer at non-league Bedwas come to mind while Chris Hutchings who had successful spells managing Wigan and Walsall is now an assistant manager at Drayton Town
