Kemy Agustien is back in contention
Albion*head coach Oscar Garcia is still hopeful of facing a “selection headache” for tomorrow’s trip to Wigan.
He expects to have Liam Bridcutt, Kemy Agustien and Andrea Orlandi available to multiply his midfield options.
Bridcutt suffered a knee knock on his return from long-term injury as a substitute against Blackburn 13 days ago, when Agustien was on the bench but unused after calf trouble.
Knee surgery has restricted Orlandi to two appearances so far this season.
Oscar said: “If everything goes okay I think Kemy, Liam and maybe Andrea will be available for selection, although they lack match fitness.”
Keith Andrews (calf) and Will Buckley (hamstring) could also return to the squad after missing out against Blackburn, while Andrew Crofts skipped international duty with Wales to rest hamstring and groin niggles.
Oscar added: “I’ve never had this selection headache but it is the job of the players to train well, to play well and now we will have more competition.”
Wigan are expecting to complete the loan capture of Manchester United forward prospect Will Keane after Albion’s visit, providing he recovers from a foot injury.
