He told seagulls.co.uk, “It was brilliant to see it go in but I think we deserved all three points. Their keeper got man of the match, so that says it all really.
“We were really unlucky not to get the win, but if we keep playing like that, then we’ll win more games then we’ll lose.
“We’re unbeaten in two games now and are unlucky not to have six points but those are slim margins and everyone can see we’ve got a really good side. I don’t believe it’ll be long until we’re winning games all the time.
“If we can keep that level of performance against every team we play, then we’ll certainly climb the table.”
Crofts also praised the strength of character within the squad, after continuing to battle hard without several key first-team players.
“We’re lucky that we’ve got a really good set of boys, some really strong characters with the expereinced boys added* to the blend of youngsters.
“But as you saw out there tonight, we put in a really strong performance, and if we keep playing like that and get the injured boys back, then will have a really good chance of climbing the table.”
