Bruno could return to the bench for Albion at QPR tomorrow night
* Bruno is on course to return to injury-hit Albion's first team squad at Queens Park Rangers tomorrow night.

* The Spanish right-back, sidelined by a hamstring injury since the opening day defeat at Leeds, is likely to be on the bench at Loftus Road.

* Assistant head coach Nathan Jones said this morning: "Bruno came through training well yesterday. We are going to have to see again today and then we'll make a decision.

* "Things are improving slightly. There is some light at the end of the tunnel. We are looking to get as many back as soon as we can, because we think we've got a really competitive squad when we've got everyone back."

* Liam Bridcutt (hernia) is creeping closer to a return. No timescale has been put on his comeback, but Albion would love to have the influential defensive midfielder available for Saturday's home game against Bolton, which Keith Andrews cannot play in under the terms of his loan move from the visitors.

* Jones said: "He is progressing well. He is on schedule. We though he might have been a little bit ahead of it, but we've just had to make sure he is fine.

* "He is making decent progress now. We want to get him back as soon as possible without rushing or risking anything, because he is so important to us. We have been without him for enough now and we are looking forward to getting him back. He's not far away."

* Ashley Barnes will take over the target man role at Rangers, with Leo Ulloa starting a three-match ban for his red card at Reading on Sunday.
* Cardiff loan signing Craig Conway is available for his debut now that international clearance has been secured from the Welsh FA.
