I remember Farrington hearing the cheers as he was being subbed, thinking we were doing it in appreciation of his efforts. Laughable

I'm going to say Tommy Elphick. He was a very good player at a very young age, I thought he would go on to be a future captain

Also in recent years, Gavin Hoyte on loan from Arsenal. Truly awful.
