Tomasz Kuszczak has urged Albion to forget about their nightmare at Selhurst Park – and set up a magical night back at home.
The Seagulls return to the scene of their heaviest defeat of the season as they take on Crystal Palace in the first leg of their play-off semi-final tomorrow.
Kuszczak has dismissed the significance of the 3-0 reverse in November and believes the Seagulls can be in great shape for the second leg.
The goalkeeper said: “We had a player sent-off really early (Lewis Dunk). They had two penalties and we were really disappointed.
“But when we played the home game we showed everyone that was just a bad day and we can play against Palace.”
Kuszczak believes Albion will go for goals tomorrow, within reason.
He said: “Look what happened in the Champions League. We saw Barcelona and Real Madrid lost heavily in the first leg.
“I learned a lot from those games.
“We will make sure we try to win the game because that is the way we play, we attack.
“But we need to be really disciplined to bring a good result home because the magic happens at The Amex.
“We feel the stadium, we know how to play, it's a good pitch, one of the best in the league and that is to our advantage.”
