Good evening Insider, I was wandering if you could tell me why the Palace fans are not being threatened with lengthy bans for using tickets bought by another person for the upcoming match and yet Brighton fans are?
The conditions of sale were jointly agreed between the clubs. We have published the sanctions for breaches of the conditions of sale so that there can be no doubt of the likely outcome should such a breach occur. The sanctions will only come into effect should people try to circumvent the club's loyalty scheme thus allowing those who are not entitled to a ticket to attend; so if everyone has played fair by their fellow supporters the issue of sanctions should not occur.
