Tomasz Kuszczak and Liam Bridcutt have been ruled out of one of Albion’s toughest tests of the season through illness.
Neither feature in the 18 to face in-form Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Kuszczak suffered a back injury in the latter stages of Albion’s last game, the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace.
The problem forced him to withdraw from the Poland squad for their recent World Cup qualifiers but sickness is the reason for his absence today. He is replaced by Casper Ankergren.
Bridcutt is replaced by Andrew Crofts in midfield.
Albion are still missing the injured Bruno (calf) and suspended Ashley Barnes and Adam El-Abd as well as their longer-term absentees, Craig Mackail-Smith and Nottingham lad Will Hoskins.
Forest have been handed a big boost with attacking midfielder Henri Lansbury declared fit after the calf and shin injury which ruled him out of England under-21 action at The Amex last Monday.
They rest ex-Albion loanee Gonzalo Jara Reyes, who has been a regular at right-back.
Forest are concerned Jara Reyes is tired after a midweek trip to South America to play for Chile.
Darius Henderson, another Albion old boy, gets the nod to partner Simon Cox in attack.
The hosts are looking to equal a club record of seven successive league win.
Meanwhile a point or three for Albion would take them back into the play-off places.
Nottingham Forest: Darlow; Hutchinson, Ward, Collins, Cohen; Guedioura; Lansbury, Reid, Majewski; Henderson, Cox. Subs: Evtimov, Moussi, McGugan, Halford, Blackstock, Sharp, Jara Reyes.
Albion: Ankergren; Calderon, Greer, Upson, Bridge; Crofts, David, Orlandi; LuaLua, Ulloa, Buckley. Subs: Brezovan, Dunk, Painter, Hammond, Dicker, Vicente, Barker.
