Don't chase the pigeons or try to catch one in St Marks Square...........back in 1979 I did and got my mum fined £25
I used to do it all the time in the old Churchill square at the back of BHS, how was I to know the Italian pigeons were not fair game!!!!

Agree with all the posts absolutley loved everything about Venice. We stayed in the europa e regina. So much to see and do. All I would add is if you do a gondola try it at night and ask to go in the thin back canals the old street lights illuminate the buildings beautifully.
