Kazenga LuaLua believes Albion owe their fans derby joy after a tough week on the road.
The Seagulls return home to face old foes Crystal Palace on the back of three tough away games which have brought only one point.
LuaLua has put himself in the frame for action against the Eagles on Sunday thanks to an impressive performance off the bench in the 2-1 defeat at Barnsley last night.
He would love to help re-ignite the play-off push by beating Palace.
The winger said: “It’s a massive game for the fans and the club, all the players as well.
“We lost tonight and on Sunday we have got to win the game.
“It won’t be easy but hopefully we’ll be on the winning side.
“It will nice to be back at The Amex. They have been three frustrating games away from home.”
LuaLua would love to be involved to give new impetus to a stop-start season on a personal level.
He admitted: “I can only hope. The season has been frustrating for me, not playing as many minutes as I would like to play.
“We have had a few injuries. I just hope to play more minutes. I can only try my best.”
