Palace vs Albion - F.A.Cup 3rd Round Attendances

Comparison of Albion vs Palaces attendances

OK folks - here's a true opportunity, this Saturday, to compare the fanbase of Palace against the Albion. No season ticket holders reflected in this weekends attendances just pure bums on seats. Both games are played on the same day and both teams are playing against similar Premiership opposition.

Some may say the Albion are in at a disadvantage as our game is an early kick off which is being shown live on T.V. Plus Palace, who are higher in the Championship than us, are playing against higher Premiership opposition. So all points towards a bigger crowd at Selhurst - or will it be ?

What next? Burgers sold? Raffle tickets purchased?

You're making a mockery of the rivalry to reduce it to bean-counting.

 19 pages on how many tickets we have sold for this fixture and then outcry when it's compared to our rivals :D

You lot must be the non attending season ticket holders sitting infront of the T.V. :D

Just be delighted that both of our teams are on the telly and doing well in the League. Looking forward to coming to the Amex for the match in March.

Although Stoke are higher in the Premier League than Newcastle I don't think you can claim they are a more attractive draw.

Certainly less distance for Stoke fans to travel to Palace than Newcastle to us.

Having a look online, Palace have priced adults at £20 throughout the ground, concessions at a tenner, so quite clearly the victor here is Palace, for their vastly superior ticket prices.

I actually agree with you for once. If the whole Amex was priced at £28 - It would have been a sell out, but charging up to £39 is too high for ANY game in the Championship.

It isn't about the attendance , it is about the injury count. Palace don't know what they are up against.

Very unfair contest. To see the game, Palace fans have to be at Selhurst. Ours can just press 3 on the remote.

If Palace were televised and were charging 25+ per ticket, they'd get about 7K through the gate.
