Mayo Wynne Baxter has become the latest lounge sponsor at the Amex...
Sussex law firm Mayo Wynne Baxter is the latest Albion sponsor of one of the Amex Stadium’s corporate lounges, which is now known as the Mayo Wynne Baxter Lounge.
On matchdays this pitch-facing lounge, in the Upper Gold North section, will welcome up to 128 members of the 1901 Club, which includes Brighton-based broadcaster Des Lynam and superstar DJ Norman Cook. On non-matchdays the Mayo Wynne Baxter Lounge will host networking events, seminars and business meetings.
Albion chief executive, Paul Barber, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mayo Wynne Baxter as Lounge Sponsors at the American Express Community Stadium and we are looking forward to working with one of the leading law firms in the south of England.
“We will be working closely with the team at Mayo Wynne Baxter to enhance both brands’ growing reputation in the local area.”
Mayo Wynne Baxter has five offices in Sussex and around 200 staff. It covers niche areas of law as well as everything you would expect from a big firm like conveyance, family, employment, inheritance and business law.
In 2012 Mayo Wynne Baxter was highly commended by the Law Society’s Excellence Awards for outstanding client service. It has also been nationally recognised by independent journals for its specialist teams in agricultural law, clinical negligence, travel litigation and professional negligence.
Mayo Wynne Baxter chief executive, Chris Randall, added: “Alongside Albion’s impressive journey up the divisions, few clubs around the world do so much for their local community. We try to support organisations that matter to our clients and our staff and the Albion is right up there. We’re pleased to be able to increase our support of Sussex sports through this sponsorship deal.”
Mayo Wynne Baxter has been a member of the 1901 Club since Albion moved into the Amex Stadium in May 2011. Its offices are in Brighton, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Lewes and Seaford.
