There are probably on two reasons why the club might abandon the stripes, proper stripes that is (and not for the first time), and that would be if the chairman/owner wasn't a fan of the club and didn't really connect with some of the traditions and the second would be so the sponsor's name stands out.

Both those shirts are great, but I expect are unlikely. I'd have no problem with ditching the stripes or going to pin stripes, after all we've done both in the past.

Or the fans didn't feel then need to buy yet another similar shirt.

With the popularity of the current away kit, within the jnr ranks, I'd expect the update to be child orientated and equally gaudy.

Both are gorgeous but I don't see us straying too far from what we have at the moment. Besides, if we play a team in Blue, White or Blue & White, we'd likely need to use a 3rd kit...
