Is there an end product? No.

Deadline day panic buy, and yet another waste of space in an overcrowded group of mediocre midfield players. His best spell in La Liga? The best part of 5 years ago now for a mid table side, before he soon became a fringe player.

I reckon he is going to need more than 300 minutes of football to show us more of what he is capable of.

He's moved country. He joined us after the season had already begun and I would suggest that this is a step up to the standard he was playing at the start of the season.

There are plenty of examples of players whom have taken a while to find their feet.

Can he get physical in a full blooded derby? Like the one coming up, doubt it.
