Paul Reid scores against Leeds in 2006. Gary Hart later grabbed the winner

Albion will be chasing their first home win over Leeds for almost seven years tonight.
But they are unbeaten in their last three games against the Elland Road outfit.
Leeds grabbed a 3-3 draw at The Amex last season and won on their last three visits to Withdean.
But they were beaten 2-1 at the athletics stadium in January 2006 when Paul Reid and Gary Hart were on target.
That completed a five-game unbeaten run for the Seagulls against the West Yorkshire club.
The sequence included a 1-0 Albion win at Withdean in October 2004 when Clark Carlisle turned a Darren Currie free-kick into his own net.
Leeds pair Matt Kilgallon and Paul Butler were sent off in the last few minutes as their frustration boiled over.
United’s last win at Withdean came in Gus Poyet’s first home league game in charge of the Seagulls.
Poyet was assistant boss to Dennis Wise when Leeds won 1-0 at the same stadium in 2007-08 thanks to Tresor Kandol’s goal.
Albion were held to a 1-1 draw at Elland Road in February 2010 but took four points out of six in last season’s meetings, helped by Alan Navarro’s late winner in the away game.
For details of the full record between the teams – plus four memorable matches – see Howard Griggs’ popular Albion Nostalgia feature in The Argus today.
We have also dug out three classic Albion photos from the archives – including one which will have the Sky Sports cameramen this evening thankful for the modern facilities at The Amex!
